 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Steve Hill's old one? (Or was that RHD?) - I guess not, since it still has the French CT & insurance green square in the window. Looks very nice, anyway. He's wrong about zero cost to change from Eire to UK plates, though - there's a £55 first-reg fee payable.

A guy up the road from me is looking at it - lives in France and looking at a French car in Ireland..... strange.

Might be worth finding out what the original French identity was - it might have sneaked out of a scrappy back door, possibly during the Balladur scrappage, which could cause it to be unregisterable back home...

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Peter, south of Watford, it seems that they're working on abandoning the need to pronounce 'r' when it appears in a word. Up here in Yorrrkshirrre, it's not pronounced ' Chalston'... kern Peterj wrote: jack_dyane wrote: thats how its pronounced Oh is the the r in charleston silent like the p in swimming. Peter

Whereas north of the Thames, in that hideous land called 'North' nobody has grasped how to pronounce 'bath' or 'grass', as they seem to think it needs to be spelt with an 'r', due to, I think, a tragic misunderstanding of how words sound when pronounced correctly or spending too much time down mines or 'fancying' pigeons to comprehend speaking properly.

Simmer down pal. You'll be missing Coast or something.
