for my next local monthly 2cv meeting, we are told the dress code is, well basically french.
i would like to go as the creator/designer/inventer(genius) of the 2cv,
any suggestions, photos, etc would be appreciated, obviously i can not grow a huge mistache or beard in the next week, so i have to bear that in mind !

Re: The O/T thread! mm looked at there jacks, dont seem to impressive, but cheap, may go to my local tool shop and see if they can supply me with one, then argue about the price and get my usual 30% off

Re: The O/T thread! halfords do quite a nice jack and axle stand pack. rated for 2 tonnes so they must be fairly robust i should think. even though people have digs at halfords. i cant deny that the budget tools and fasteners do help me out from time to time.

dont get me wrong im sure there ok, just some reviews seem to say there a bit dodgy.. anyway general rule, use axel stands and then you know youll be ok!
i saw the pack they do, for like 40 quid, axel stands etc
ive got 5 axel stands already!
