A fail then

Doh . It's a bad connection. If you, tap the headlamp it works a will from then on but the jest time you switch then on it don't. Darras and they guy still doing there stuff!

Have they not finished writing out the fail sheet yet? It must be longer than War and Peace

she passed, it was a dodgy headlamp connection, tap the headlight and it works, i didnt want to admit to knowing that though!
aim was all pissed on the beam, they then passed her with one advisery
the advisery being the suspension is too low on the offside, what they mean is the nearside !!

i havent had time to adjust the nearside suspension to correct it, its as wonky as anything!!

likewise! was in there an hour!!and i had to choose the moment to use the loo when they decided to initlally fail it, as i walked past, one headlight was down, bugger me says!!

So was the headlamp responding to tapping during the test?

yer, its odd, the first time you use the lights, you have to tap it, just once and lightly, and itll work, after that itll be fine, a good few hours later, tap me again says the bulb, going to check the wiring / bulb soon! when i get round to it i geuss

and because darras took the bulb out, and put it back in, it worked so they passed it, i got in the car this evening, and the headlamp said tap me please again!!
