it was a one off with taper roller bearings? (or perhaps they had been introduced as most American cars of that age had them and so they were better than the Citroen version , which has been adopted by nearly all manufacturers now. Thats a popular train of thought isnt it?)

I've just read that advert. Then I read it again, and after that I read it again. I can't work it out.
And I'm sorry, but we've been over this so many times before, CV2? What the fuck? It's written on the bootlid and the V5 so how do so many people not understand it? Nobody on building sites drives a CBJ, nobody calls XR2s '2XR's so why can't the people who actually own these things get THREE characters in the right order. Morons.
