Only done Le Mans Classic, since i prefer old crap. This was already quite expensive for tickets, food and drinks, but worth every penny. I imagine the real Le Mans will be more expensive and more crowded.

Post subject:  Working in the UK, Accommodation required.

Just thought I would put this out there...

I have been offered work on a film project in the London, starting in August 2015, running until April 2016.
I still have to sort my Visa's etc... Luckily I married a French national ;-)

I will be needing housing/accommodation for the family, my wife and I with our 2yr old, prefer a 2 bedroom flat or apartment etc.

If you know of anything suitable, even for a shorter period, please let me know. Plan on traveling over around the 1st of August.

Hope to see you at some 2cv meetings!

Harley

Thanks for that James, I will need something in the greater London area.
The studios are near Watford.

Cheers,

I really want an H van. Wonder if anybody wants to swap a pair of 2cvs for one?

Russell... get a scale one 1:18!

saves you a lot of annoyances, and believe me, these do rust, even more then 2cv's a LOT more!! helped a friend of mine restoring a good one... had to replace or repair every panel/ piece of profile e.t.c. fortunately the bottom of his van was solid. (ex firetruck, with only 37000 km on the tacho)

but hey, if you want one, you want one :)

just see this as a warning, so you know where you are getting yourself into!

greetzzzzzzzzzzz, Rusty

Yeah but what's the alternative? I see three choices, first, the most likely, I can't find one I can afford to buy that's any good and I keep my 2cvs (no problem). Secondly, I can get hold of one, keep nailing it back together and lose a fortune in it but at the same time I get a great tool for days and weekends out with my family, or third I could just go and buy a VW T4/5 like every predictable surfer dude bellend out there and have something just as shit and boring as them. I don't fancy that option so much.

Get a Sprinter and kit it out?
Get a Bongo?
Get a big estate car and a mattress, and a nice tent?
