http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C268502£2500 seems very reasonable for what sounds like an excellent car.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
That was the most horrific 2cv I've ever driven, but since old man Hollis rebuilt the engine it should at least run a bit better now. The rest of it isn't in bad shape, but it would benefit from having original seats and so on back in it. That's a fraction of what it has cost the owner.

Will, I guess you're referring to the feedback score of the 'winner', nothing like making it obvious... 1***y, zero feedback & 100% activity with this vendor. ken

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
There seems to be a glut of idiots turning up on eBay at the moment. I bid on a car last week, whilst I was the highest bidder at £2600ish it didn't meet it's reserve and didn't sell. It's now been resisted at £4250....

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
To be honest in that specific case I'm more annoyed that I didn't win it, but it was on there ages and didn't reach reserve, so why stick it on with an asking price so far above what it reached? Good luck to him, but in a dragons den fashion 'I'm out'. That cote is a wierd one though, I can't understand the super fast turnaround from a £2500 car to a £4k one, overnight?
