 Re: Cool 2cv pictures 6 The engine blew up on the way back from the Paris meeting in 1998.
When I was standing on the chassis sliding the replacement engine in, one of the chassis legs gave way.
Then my AKS400 came along, and then my 1982 2CV, and my finances were diverted elsewhere...
There's a galvanised chassis under it, though.
I'm hoping to drag it out, total up the bits I need, find out which bits I don't have in my shed (the blown up engine is still in my shed) and work out how the hell I'm going to afford to put it back on the road.
