Glad you like, It is a very swish looking machine, They have spent a lot of time on the car. I contrast to some other of the racers there are. I think he was happpy to be sat at the back to be honest.

How long until it has its first scrape?

That is one seriously tidy race 2CV-love the detail work that's gone into it.

It gave me some great ideas for mine. None of which I've used though on the basis that they may cost money!

It's racing at Mallory on Sunday May 10th if anybody wants to see it in the "flesh" so to speak-although it won't be Simon driving as he's away in sunnier climes on location work.

Hmmm, I'd heard Pete wasn't going to be there. Could it be a double bluff perhaps? It's a shame if Pete isn't going-after all, he was at the first ever race.

Hmm, I'm sure the write-up Simon sent us said something about it...

Off to photograph it next saturday, for those of you unfamiliar with this 2cv, it took part in (and won!) the 2004 Gumball rally!

Well I spent a good part of yesterday with Gary Lutke, who owns the Gumball 2cv, he's a really sound guy! Hopefully I've got some good pictures of it, it certainly has a good story to tell.

Gary has kindly agreed to host this site on his servers, which will hopefully mean we can expand a bit, and the site will be more reliable.

Watch this space, Max is sorting a few of the photographs out, probably editing my poor camera skillz into summat useful, hopefully the new feature car should be posted soon for yo'all to see.

What do you guys want after this one? I've got a Slough built 2cv or a '61 AZAM with an interesting history lined up....
