 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
i have asked for some more pictures
Coincidentally I hate ebay Its full of fuckwits, I've been flogging stuff for my boss the twat who wins one item despite placing multiple bids, one at the last second, now vanishes of the face of the earth ignores all emails etc grrr
There should be a way to force-able obtain money of people like that and i can only assume they weren't hacked as they buy boat bits in the feedback which would tie in with what ive sold!!!!

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
As previously stated on another topic: a good paint job and a fill can hide anything. I think twits like that could ruin the A-series name.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Already have haven't they, look on ebay and any polished turd can get 4000, my mates couldn't believe their eyes when they saw a 2cv on ebay for 9800, it's a joke really, that people buy them, you can get a hell of a lot more for 10k than a 2cv.

You can say that of many things, not just cars, but paintings by many different artists like Monet, Rembrandt, Picasso,Van Gogh and things like Chinese/Japanese vases. If there is a market and the market is greater than the number of artifacts in circulation.....The price goes up. It's called 'market forces'.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Yawn. My local pound shop is full of Chinese made vases, and they're worth fuck all. I think it's more about where you look and what cheeky scumbags are selling for. People need to do their research somewhat further than looking at eBay and saying 'Oh, a 2cv is now worth £5000' because there's one listed for that. I guess if you're stupid enough to think that's the case and you like spending big money on flimsy and dubious crap then bully for you, but personally I'll steer clear of the internet and it's ability to find mugs. Both those who pay the money or think that these cars are worth it, when they don't realise there's still plenty out there for reasonable dollar.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Well, this was on eBay in the USA recently, with a Buy It Now of $25000. It's an 82 year old Harley, powered by 2 pulse rockets! Seems quite good value to me, but can't think what the f*** I'd do with it, apart from take it to that mad beach race that they have at Weston Super Mare and piss on all the other competitors... Here's a vid about it: http://youtu.be/4Q6v_0x7M0o

Also it's a certain type of person who'll spend thousands on a painting isnt it?

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Austin 7s were £120 new, they now sell for £6000 and aren't anywhere near as usable as a 2CV.
