Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Went to B&Q and picked up some plasterboard and lengths of timber. It's the only car I've ever had that takes sheets of plasterboard with ease. Although it did look like a bright red mobile toaster on the way home.

When in Polska, use this exclamation to express indignation/surprise/anger/irritation/just about anything: "Kurwa nie!" (pronounced "Koorva n-yeah") Also, "to jest okropne" (pronounced "toyest okropneh") = "this is terrible", is useful. Both perfect when receiving a ticket from Jacek Law.

I learnt that actually, it wasn't 'just' the brake fluid warning light after all.
I learnt the true magnitude of my engines oil leak.
I learnt exactly when and how my lackadaisical attitude towards vehicle maintenance will bite me in the arse.
Tomorrow I will learn about rebuilding engines.
