Went to B&Q and picked up some plasterboard and lengths of timber. It's the only car I've ever had that takes sheets of plasterboard with ease. Although it did look like a bright red mobile toaster on the way home.

When in Polska, use this exclamation to express indignation/surprise/anger/irritation/just about anything:
"Kurwa nie!" (pronounced "Koorva n-yeah")

Also, "to jest okropne" (pronounced "toyest okropneh") = "this is terrible", is useful.

Both perfect when receiving a ticket from Jacek Law.

I learnt a few things about my 2cv today.

I learnt that actually, it wasn't 'just' the brake fluid warning light after all.

I learnt the true magnitude of my engines oil leak.

I learnt exactly when and how my lackadaisical attitude towards vehicle maintenance will bite me in the arse.

Tomorrow I will learn about rebuilding engines.

Must actually drive mine more.

Need to service it at some point, too.

Can't wait to the summer next year to actually use the car. Not had it most of the summer :(
