Yeah, the bottom-of-range 2cv Special came out in 75/76 and was only available in some continental markets. Originally it had the 435cc engine and 4-light bodywork. Then it gained to the 6-light bodywork in around 77/78, and also the rest of the colours from the standard 2cv6/2cv4. Shortly after that it got the 602 engine (the 435 was discontinued altogether in 1978) and became the 2cv6 Special we all know well (though the Special wasn't available in Britain until the 1982 model year...).

Specials also always had round lights, whereas the 2cv4/2cv6* of the era had square ones by then. Specials always had the small speedo/twin-spoke wheel, basic door trims etc. etc. as well.

*2cv6 became known as 2cv6 Club when the 2cv6 Special came out in 1978. The Club reverted to round lights after 1987, though it was no longer available in Britain by then anyway.
