Our 2CVs have one of the largest crush zones of all cars on the roads, with or without this cage: 3,83 Meters or 12,57 feet. This cage might help to increase your illusion of more safety but you should keep on driving very clear-sighted and defensive.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
It would need rear legs, door bars, a front crossbar and a few other bits before it was any use. It would be worth the £30 somebody just paid because all the fabrication that requires specialist tooling is done. It's just straight bars requ'd.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Thats what I thought, Just a few extra bits welded in and you've got a fairly good cage... Pretty good for £30, although might need a little modifying to fit the beast!!!

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
It's a tenth of the price of the cage I bought, and probably more sturdy.
