Re: Anoraky spotted thread. Yesterday, as I was driving south between Market Deeping and Peterborough, I saw a tidy red and white D*lly coming the other way. Half an hour later, on my return journey, I saw a smart sky blue Special heading into Peterborough. I was in my red Special.

Today while driving into Montendre I passed a very nice white special, a maroon Charleston, a red Dyane billowing outs some smoke, a very nice blue aks400 with two enormous planks of wood on the roof rack, an Acadiane being loaded with gas bottles Oh and a Visa Club. Quite quiet really.

Mine is in proper use carrying the crap to the tip, taking the copious wine bottles to the re-cycling point and general this and there. Needs a CT though, must check it out.

A very sad, tragic, anoraky, geeky observation of mine  Was round Peter Cross' place earlier, just chatting about one or two things that need doing to the car, and a lady pulled up in an E reg. Charleston with indicator issues. When Peter was checking the wiring on the bulk-head, I noticed the RP no. seemed very familiar, so I popped the bonnet of my car and Bingo!! Charleston's RP- 4187, my car's RP- 4188. So my 2CV was built the day after the Charley  I really do need to get a life.
