If life wasn't *quite* so short, I'd be half tempted to ask the seller what the unleaded conversion involved..!

Think you've seen the ugliest 2CV ever? Think again.

All the more unforgivable for actually being professionally designed.

Are you sure it was being winched out of a ditch? I remember it being picked up and then supported at 45 degrees by ropes attached to a tree. This was done so the fuel line could be reattached.

That's it! I knew I remembered it being suspended in mid air for some reason. Can you remember where it was? Probably one of the Firkin Freezing camps, but I could be wrong.

It was in Lincolnshire. We were staying at The Blue Bell, in Belchford. It was one of Pete and Bev's camps, although I can't remember if it was a Gathering of the Vans, or whether it was a New Year Camp. It was the winter of '98/'99 - I know that because I was in my green and white D*lly, and I only had that car a for a few months over that winter.

That was New Year, then. I cycled to that one, all the way from Penkridge, near Stafford ... about 150 miles. I was quite a lot fitter in those days ...

And, once you've seen that mental image, everybody with a copy of that image becomes liable to three years in prison and an unlimited fine...
