Re: The O/T thread! Toss up between the 2cv and the Aston DB5. For me, that Aston with the ejector seat and the machine guns behind the numberplate will always be THE Bond car. But I voted for the 2cv anyway.

Are The Mods making a come back? Not strictly 2cv business although I was dropping off a 2cv gearbox at the time.
On a recent 7 day visit to the UK I saw a great number of Vespas and Lambrettas in varous parts of southern England, many of the riders were obviously inexperienced, male and female. Being a mod back in the 60's I was obviously interested. I know there are some scooter fans on here.Is there a reason for this current upsurge of sooters on the road?
The full face helmets don't look as good as the peaked helmets of my day and indeed the helmet less days. And not a fish tailed parka in sight.Gosh I feel old!

Re: The O/T thread! Crikey! The new Ford Mondeo range will include a 1.0L ecoboost version which, according to AutoExpress, "is so small it would fit on top of an A4 sheet of paper"!! The engine will produce 123hp while delivering a combined fuel economy of 56.5mpg and ultra-low petrol CO2 emissions performance of 114g/km.
