Tissue dispenser or not, Toyota 'Spade'? Really?

Bloody hell, "Spade". Hadn't thought of it like that!

Not quite as obviously crap as Mitsubishi were with their "Pajero" though: "...since pajero is an offensive term for "wanker" in Spanish, alternative names have been used for many markets overseas. It is known as the Mitsubishi Montero (meaning "mountain hunter") in Spain, India, and the Americas (excepting Brazil), and as the Mitsubishi Shogun in the United Kingdom."

Don't know if anyone here watches 'Primeval' but in the series currently airing there was an episode involving a nuclear submarine. The admiralty authorisation code for the release of nuclear weapons was 'AZ 425'

Finally got back into Citroen ownership with an...

...'06 Berlingo van, a 1.9 diesel.

I can't afford an A-series at the moment, but for me it feels like the next best thing, it seems to have a bit of 2cv spirit in it, you can hoon it round bends hearing the road under the tyres, and every rattle and creak from the back, I'm loving it. Similar mpg too. Can you take it to shows?

There's also Visa with MOT 10miles from my house, sorely tempted.

I took my Partner van (same thing) to Spa last year and got booed when I arrived, which is kinda fair enough. generally though, I think 2cv meeting organisers will be grateful for your attendance. Although I've no used it since getting both 2cvs road legal, I do rather like my van, it's handy and has been pretty reliable, espescially as I rarely open the bonnet to check anything unless I can hear or feel it's broken...

It's a Citroen, you're close to Harrogate, take it to the ICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCR that's on now. You'll just need a long term loan to pay for an entrance ticket.

Ha, that is pretty funny you got booed, hopefully in a light-hearted, non-militant, friendly Gallic way? We looked at a few Partners but it had to be a Citroen, I gave it as an excuse to one seller who was giving the hard sell, he didn't understand. I mumbled something about it being the great granddaughter of the Acadiane and he just looked puzzled.

I'm going to skulk around outside in my *cough*volvo 940*cough*. Can't afford those prices, would love to go. I've been using this Volvo on the motorway so that £120 could be spent on hauling its sorry arse 15 miles down the M1. Bloody thing.

edit: though have just seen the day ticket prices. think I'm gonna go on sunday.
