What's with all the sneering about D0llies? It's only a couple of stickers after all. Take them off and you have a two tone special. The two tone versions of other classics are highly sought after. ;)

yehhh that is the truth. But, i wouldn't want to drive one, unless it was an early grey and creme one. That's just my opinion though.

As a D*lly driver i'm gonna take the moral high ground and say that its whats inside that counts, not the colour of the skin.

I don't think my opinion should be taken personally. i just prefer the older colour schemes, and since i couldn't afford a drummer or an earlier car, i settled with a charleston. If the colour schemes appealed to me i would have bought late D*lly. But i didnt because they don't. :)

 It doesn't take a great deal of skill to turn a D*lly into something a bit more funky!

i agree, Thats the beauty of these cars, they are versatile. But off the production line D*lly's don't appeal to me. Thats all.

The Charleston was originally going to be called the D*lly. Fact.

I agree, they could have called 'em skull crushers, but they would still have looked like noddy cars, dollys made 2cvs a bit of a joke, the name didn't help with that image, but neither did the late colour schemes.

wollies are a bit daft, but then again, so are Beachcombers and SPOTs. None of them are as bad as what a lot of owners do to their 2cvs though!

:D Perhaps the mods ought to change the code settings so that every time the forum spellchecker detects D.o.l.l.y. it should sub in SkullCrusher.
