Anyone know why Citroen called them Doll y? I've always assumed that it was because 2CVs were often used by French film makers as moving-camera mounts for tracking shots (the film industry name for this type of camera support being "doll y"). Makes the name Doll y seem just a bit less pathetic and childs' toy-ish. Attachment:

btw, just got told that the Yugoslavians tended to call the 2CV Spacek, which means "little freak". How rude.

What's with all the sneering about D0llies? It's only a couple of stickers after all. Take them off and you have a two tone special. The two tone versions of other classics are highly sought after.
