the eriba isnt to heavy if its an early 1 the later pucks are heavier so that puts them over weight. dad tows his with a single choke aks400. slowly i admit but it did tow it. the ami has to soft suspension at times. the best we found was my acad. the longer wheel arch helps plus the 10-1 compression obiviously

Just going back to towing something heavy:-Barry Willis has a tear-drop caravan he built himself, I was returning from Registers Day this year and there was very slow moving traffic on the A14, at the head of this slow moving traffic was Barry, towing his Tear-Drop at about 30mph

James I have a thing for anything old, rusty and neglected. Part of me wants to bring them back to their former glory, while another part wants to drive them more or less how they are. I mean look.. 8-)

engine was hand built by dickie dawes. hes a member of the specials club lomaxes etc. the guy i bought the van from was in the same group and paid dickie to build the engine for him. i not exactly sure what he did but it works. its better now i put standard flywheel on it. with the light flywheel it was good away from standing start but crap up hill. even worse when towing. i was always going through the gearbox 3rd to 4th back to 3rd back to 4th etc etc
