 Re: Forum signatures
I see, I was going to stick a bid in for that as it sat on it's start price right until the end, I only wanted it to make you twice as jealous

 Re: Forum signatures
lol yeah thanks russ well, the guy boosted it up, start price 40 mins before the end... and then 20 mins later he raised his bid to 750!! which is what i eventually... stupidly... outbid! when we told him to give it to the seller below... he was already acting a little dodgy! then he emailed back yesterday to say "the other guy changed his mind, and it looks like you own the car now! so dads just gna ring n say we'll cover your ebay fees for listing/re-listing but we cant buy the car! then i said about being proper cheeky and bidding on it using someone elses profile if it stays cheap the second time round

[quote="Joe602 hehe is it bad... to bid on something... then not pay as you cant afford it... then maybe bid again if it stays cheap? "giggle" [/quote] Yes it is bad, if you've entered into a legal agreement to buy it. I feel for the guy who was trying to sell it, if i'd been messed about like that i'd be livid...

you have to ask? there's enough messers on eBay as it is, but to find a *another* 2cv'er that thinks it's a joke & can't adhere to the rules is frankly disgusting.
