Be interesting to see it once it's finished and painted. I can't see anything wrong with the standard bike, quite honestly.

The one thing wrong with the original bike is the two words ... 'factory custom'

surely if the factory churn them out in the thousands then the word 'custom' doesnt apply at all?

Yeah, 'factory custom' is an oxymoron, so what would be the correct term?

It's not really my style of bike, but I'll let him get a bit further with the build before passing judgment. There's not much to go on in that final photo.

I know what you're saying Joolz, I mean ive seen some awful part finished things that eventually turn out quite nice.

Im not a fan of choppers or customs per se' but each to their own.

And as for correct term, then probably 'cruiser' or something??

Never liked the term cruiser, sounds far too laid back. Bikes shouldn't cruise, they should be loud, fast, and uncomfortable. Can't call them choppers either, as that comes from bikes that have been chopped up and modified.
