With the BX about to breathe its last, I've had to get my arse into gear and fix the Discovery.

Again!

This time, I've been doing the cambelt-yet one more reason to love A-series and rue the fact that the Ami won't haul 1600kg of trailer with 800kg of horse in it!!

The belt had been rubbing on the cover thanks to poor adjustment when the previous owner had the injector pump overhauled.

Nearly done now.

Maybe tomorrow when it's done, I may just have a bit of a tidy up in the garage so I can get on with some work on Rachaels 2CV.............

I too miss O/Ns blogs and recall his brilliant blogs on this forum. I spose he's gone to that place in the sky for old Karasaki motor bikes and 2cvs. Come home E/T(O/N)

How crap is F1 at the moment? Bunch of fairweather gaylords. Bit of rain too scary for what is supposed to be the greatest selection of racing drivers on earth? Last time I turned on the F1 they were sitting on the grid under red flags because there'd been a bit of a crash, this week they're sitting on the grid under red flags because it's raining. BORING. If I want to watch a load of pricey cars going nowhere I'll go to a museum, If I want to watch decent racing then I'm pretty sure there's plenty of other places I can see that away from the Circus of F1.
