I love it!
does being as cynical as my 60 year old father at 21 make me old before my time?

Joe when I was just a kid of ten years old or so the world was in turmoil. Vietnam war etc. All the folks we looked up to were promising us stuff - if only we'd be patient..... yet I'm still waiting. :?

They sang songs and did hippy shit, but the only beneficiaries were those that sang the songs, I notice Bob Dylan hasn't worked much since. ;) It's all bollox mate, it's good to see you've got a handle on it so young.

Told you all before - the big fish eat the little fish, that's all there is to it. When I was 21 I used to drink in bars with rough old blokes at around 40 or whatever. fella's that had broken noses and teeth like tombstones. They always used to say to me. "I wish I was your age but knew what I know now".

That always left me wondering what it was they knew! And why didn't they tell me and then I'd know too? Thing is, telling people makes no difference. They have to learn themselves, and when they do it's too late. ;)

The new New Beetle.

Reminds me of that chopped down streamlined 2cv that those French guys created, back in the 60s. Can't remember the name that they gave to the vehicle... can anyone post up a pic, to show the similarities?
