We did ask a couple of the 'display vehicle management team' why we'd been dumped up in the quarry but none of them knew why. I have emailed them and await their reply with baited breath lol!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? It's usually because it hadn't been torqued correctly; with greased threads, it should be around 100 ft. lbs. Russell wrote: Yup. Also, Why did the first one break?

Yep, if you haven't managed to remove the broken stud, the only sure way make a lasting repair is to cut off the complete mount and weld on a replacement, then install a stud to the correct torque. Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Went to see the Tour de France stage - 2 km up the road. Little Dyane managed to stop the Cochonou 2CV parade and the director of Cochonou had a good look round it. He has promised to stop tomorrow when he sees the little AZU Fourgonette to get some photos. Stage goes straight past our door tomorrow  Attachment:
