Went to the Classic Car Show in our local town, St Gaudens. Last year it was pissing down, this year it was tooooo hot
Some nice cars and managed to get a couple of bargains form the Bourse d'exchange. A nice quillery steering wheel fro the Traction. 50 euros, needs renovating but I have seen them go for nearly 300 euros on the Le Bon Coin.

It was a nice His & Hers outing in the new Dyane (thanks Chris) and 4L. Plenty of photos taken of them both and people were curious why there was a small lump in the bonnet, so I had to show them :D :D

And on the way home, both roofs down 8-) 8-)

Went to the first breakfast meeting organised by a local classic car club on Sunday. My neighbour with the ID came along too:

We're hopeful this will be a regular meet, the cafe had a blinding breakfast menu!

It is just nice to be able to use it on a daily basis :D

The AZU is fantastic but not very practical on Pyrenean roads.

The Dyane is a normal car (for us) and we have not stopped using it. :D :D :D
(need to sort out the very noisy fuel pump though..... are there any quiet ones out there  )

Is it an after-market electric one? I have two on my car, they're audible when you first switch the ignition on, but can't be heard over the engine. You might want to check how it's mounted, if it's not on rubbers it will resonate through the body.

Be carefull with this... I guess it is a Mini Metro Turbo petrol pump, so it has variable pressure output to feed the Carburetor/inletmanifold-pressure (read Turbo pressure) correctly... Look if it sits on rubbers like Joolz says.. When I took a drive in this car I didn't hear it so....
So I woudn't change it..... it is a special car, with special features so special behaviour and noises.....

Forgot what it is like to blast along at night with the roof off on a balmy summers night! Used the Celeste to take my band gear to a gig in Denford near Leek tonight as it's a tiny pub and I use a small version of the pa and a small bass combo so fitted in easily with the back seat out - great coming back in the pitch black open to the elements.....

I changed the gearbox oil and lubricated the suspension cans. It went far too easily. I checked the clutch adjustment too, which appears to be OK and the clutch works just fine, but it's felt funny this last week or two, a bit spongy and dead, not at all like it's felt over the last two years.

The red one, Ami isn't quite ready for insuring yet, exhaust to be made, MOT to be had...

Best bit is that I've saved £600 by insuring it AND the AX rather than just the AX.
