I actually feel a bit guilty about what you got for Seth. Although, theoretically, I paid even less for him from BD and haven't sold him on and made a huge profit! ;)

Besides, I'd always let you know if I was gonna sell him and give you first refusal Louise. At a sensible price of course.

I think it's nice that a few of us still remain realistic about what a 2cv is actually worth. I'd never have the front to ask £11k for anything, you can't tell me that 2cv is going to give somebody £8000 worth of extra pleasure than a £3000 car? and even that's too much for an average 2cv really.

I got pretty much what I was asking for, its no-ones fault that I obviously wasn't asking enough!

But I see it like Russ, I'd say Seth was worth what the non-runner/no MOT ones are being offered for! But good luck to them! Some people are just more savvy than others, I suppose! That's life!

I feel guilty for selling the bamboo for so much, I feel like one of these twats who are blatantly profiteering, but I felt if i sold it for less i was shooting myself in the foot, i got what it owed me, but that's not the way to price cars is it?

I'm not averse to "making money" on cars I have but generally speaking, I don't actually think I do make anything cos I end up spending a fortune on putting them right!

I feel I made a profit on Slamboo in so much as, Seth is a much nicer car (sorry Russ) so it felt like a metaphorical profit anyway! :?

What has happened to the Slamboo? Still owned by BD?
