I could not resist - the new addition to our little collection (seems I have a collection now)

Fantastic little car although I need to change the head gasket as it is a little white and gloopy in the engine.

Got him through his Côntrole Technique this morning - not a lot was picked up. A little movement in the steering and a hole or two in the floor. But passed for another 2 years.

Pretty happy now :D :D

It is a Simca 6. We were looking everywhere for a 5 but all the ones we looked at were piles of bits and asking stupid money. So the 6 is a little more modern with 12 volt electrics although there are not many lights on it or anything in fact. Had to travel to get it but got a good deal.

Always wanted a little cabriolet, same kind of roof as a 2 2cv :D

My thoughts too. The leftover vehicle was some kind of weird Porsche DS Sahara 4x4 mashup!

And a nice looking car without an engine........ (Porsche front and DS boot = no drivetrain)
