Has David Beckham got the inspiration for his new look from Oddbod, the character from the 1960's film of 'Carry on Screaming' do you think?

Don't try this at home, even if you do have half a dozen skips and a trials bike hanging around:

I've been to a couple of those events, and to one of the freestyle jumping shows. There's nothing quite prepares you for how high those guys actually fly, seeing it on TV just doesn't compare. Even in the clip above that fella' must have fallen fifteen feet or so. :?

As many as possible. Firkin Freezing in a few weeks, then me and mother's Easter Camp, probably L2B, which I'm hoping will be my first solo event, then Registers, Salbris (definately going!) and anything else small and local and interestng that pops up. Hopefully.

Nothing set in stone, but possibly Waggel, there's a German meeting I'm considering doing, Reg.Day, maybe Salbris and some small meets here and over there.

I know that the weather forcaster folk have always had difficulty predicting what's going to happen weather wise but, I've just had a quick glimpse at the 30 day forecast with the met-office, talk about hedging you bets!

It read; "UK Outlook for Saturday 29 Jan 2011 to Saturday 12 Feb 2011:
Unsettled and sometimes windy weather is expected through this period, with occasional showers or longer spells of rain, more especially in the north and west. Snow is likely at times, especially over high ground in the north. Some drier and brighter interludes are also expected, with sheltered eastern areas likely to see the greatest amount of sunshine, but with the risk of overnight frosts and some fog. Temperatures are expected to be generally near average."

I predict that some people will wonder why they're reading this post. I also foresee some people eating and drinking, perhaps even a few of you taking a tinkle at some point over the next few hours and there shall almost certainly be some breathing going on. Could I be a weather person?
