He specialises in hand poked shading etc. (i.e. one needle held in his hand, it takes time but the shading is intricate, also you dont even feel it. Well, compared to the shading needle setup anyway.

I'm sorry to say that Tats become a very quick indicator of OCD - I don't know anyone who has had a twat tat that hasn't gone on to have more..I'm not saying that even if it is your body you can't do what you like to it but body art? get over it, its like alcoholism, one more wont hurt surely?!NOOOO - its not pretty and in 30 years time, you will really look a prat - believe me, tats on a corpse look anything but awesome!

Well, as I'm in the mood for ranting tonight-I thought I'd just add my two-penneth to this "discussion" too.

I've got tattoos, they're probably one of my best kept "secrets" so to speak. And, there's the thing, they're mine, you've not got to wake up with them on you tomorrow morning so what's the problem? If you don't like them, that's your perogative.

I'd like to have some more done but, I'd sooner spend my cash on bits of metal etc at the moment.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" so they say. So, to say that in 30 years time people will "really look a prat", they may feel the same in 30 years time, they may not-it's not for any one of us on here to judge so YOU get over it!

I have tats... and not on my twat... (no I wont be proving that)
I have them where they are not on display to the public.. My hubby took the view that they are part of me, so what the hell... (and no they are not now one big mass of black merging lines, the biggest cause of the distortion is the elements.. slip slap slop.. )
some Tats I've seen I've thought .. WHY!! others I thought .. nice art..
as for 30 years time.. well if some poor sod wants to get a look at my body, for anything other than my medical, let alone my tats, at the age I'll be then good on him...

And NO corpse looks great.. with or without tats, even those 'beautified' after death are not a thing of beauty..
and to be honest, will i care that my tats are revealed upon death and slabbed out?.. well I aint gonna know am I?..

.. paintings/art of any form are a personal thing , as is wall paper, nipple rings and hair design..
see I figure that we must except that we all like stuff and dislike stuff, we have no right to look down on those who have weight issues, spots, balding, tattoos, piercings, bitten nails or a caravan.. in death we are all the same.. lets be tolerant of each others differences.. in fact let us celebrate them..

my only regret on my tattoos.. I cant have colour as I'm coloured skined..
which in turn is a problem as I keloid scar so I had a very small design first to check out if it would be a problem.. my Tattooist insisted on it ..

and I only have OCD after leaving the house in a hurry..after ironing.. did I or didnt I?...

I'll think you will find that I haven't actually said that no-one should have tats, just that they become addictive to a certain type of personality and that they are not really art...of course anyone can have a tat, it's your body after all, but that I don't find either them, or indeed in certain circumstances, the people that sport them attractive in the slightest. Of course, that would not apply to anyone on the forum......
