 Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Another nice, if a bit chilly, day in Shetland, so I've taken the opportunity to get the 2CV out again and have a pootle around the island with the hood fully open.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Are you blaming Shetland for your 2CV woes? Visit in summertime.  Just popped up to Norwick Beach and the tide is coming in and you can see the effect of the waves coming in on both sides of The Taing. It's weird to see opposing waves crashing into each other. I didn't have a camera to hand unfortunately, so I'll pop back over after lunch.

Is now in bits. New pistons and barrels are ready, first some cleaning to do..

Visit in summertime No, not at all - I had some issues before leaving and some developed along the way  The panelwork probably needed doing before I left, but that was correctly advised against, given the conditions - and the fact that I like driving out along the beach, harbourside, in the bad weather and on non-metalled roads  Pencil me in for Summer 2016

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Last night Cosette and I went to the BBC2CV Meet (Birmingham & Black Country 2CVers) First ever meet and there was 9 of us Good turn out for meeting no1 I think
