 Re: Activity
You came late to computers. I had a Pong in the late 70s which was replaced by a Sinclair ZX81. With 1k memory. Those were the days.

 Re: Activity
What is facebook..? Two GS and one XM subframes, picked up today. And a lot of other stuff also, including nice little early GS LHM-tank for my Strange Rover, where I have a plan to install C5 hydraulic pump, height sensor and rear cylinder to rear axle... Something to maybe future project. Couple of those...

 Re: Activity
@Jasu
1. New Topic.
2. @ rear axle... Generally its the front axle, that gets stuck first or is it a different reason?

 Re: Activity
Nr. 2. Different reason. There has been Boge levelling unit, what is removed. Broken, maybe. So, installing that technology what I'm familiar with, is easier (read: cheaper, much) way to have levelling on rear axle. Another story is to learn more about those modern hydraulics, and what is better way than try&error&solve..?
Topic is coming, when it is time for that. It depends do I find a proper place to build, if not I don't start to build it at snow...

 Re: Activity
@Boge Now I recall the RR self-levelling stuff., if was self pumping I think, like a lot of LR/RR stuff good idea but done on the cheap! @Snow We haven't had any real snow for the 4x4 since 2010.

 Re: Activity
Yes, that is the levelling unit. It was available also for other cars, some decades ago, if I reacall correct, there were suspension kit for Volvo (for caravan use, many liked it) and Rover SD1 and many others also. Unit has pump, valves and cylinder, an took needed hydraulic pressure from up-down movement, quite cool system, but not very reliable...
Just thinking, do we need a topic about hydraulics..?

 Re: Activity
While were talking stuff Is there a simple bolt on anti-roll bar for a 2CV?

Roger V wrote: Is there a simple bolt on anti-roll bar for a 2CV? Yes. AMI8 has anti-roll bar on front and AMI Super on both front and rear. Front installation is very easy, on shock mount is mountings for anti-roll bar, take "normal" shock mounting brackets off and mount AMI brackets on, someone else can tell about rear installation...
