Re: UK car, in France. What's the CT/MOT law? All the fuss about the MOT but there is still VED outstanding on the car. If you try and register it in the UK against its original reg number you will get a letter from the DVLA saying something like "Oh by the way, you haven't taxed this vehicle for 2 years or declared SORN etc etc" You then get asked to pay a fine and the outstanding Tax that the previous owner should have paid.
Ady I'd make sure that your Camper has no obvious faults like bald tyres, broken lights that encourage tug from a jam sandwich then just get it MOT'd soon as poss. Do you want me to book it in for you?
