I drive mine every day, I don't have another car to hop into and use. 64miles return commute plus any site visits I have to do. Drove to Bristol and back a couple of times last/this week so put an extra 800 miles or so on it. Will carry on using it for now.

Only issues I've got are: I've just had new floors put on and I don't think they've been undersealed/painted/done anything with; I work 6 or 7 days a week so beyond topping up the oil and pumping up the tyres I can't do any maintenance; she leaks STUPID amounts of oil (a decent sized puddle a day); I put TOYO tyres on which it turns out aren't very good in the cold/snow etc. which I found out at this years raid tan hill when she was slipping about all over the shop.

Oh and the engine shroud thingie is split so I don't get much warm air.

So all in all, all is good!

I've ticked the third cloise but, I reckon my C4 is goona be fairly gash if we get any snow so that's when the Ami will take over.

My C4 Coupe seemed OK to me in the snow [this time last year, when I could'nt get my 2CV outa the garage for two weeks 'cos of the snow].

Yes, there's always an A-series on the road all year (normally). Currently the '68 4-light Dyane is out and about. It was my sole driver up until recently but now the load is shared with the C5. The Dyane is still used regularly though, particularly at weekends. As was Evie before she came off the road erlier this year.
The van and Beachcomber do hibernate though as I don't really need to use either over the winter.

i've used mine all year round for the last 3 years, and i haven't got something else to just jump in and go either so it's not like theres much choice, even if there was the choices would only be 2cv, Dyane or Visa! :)

well i used the 2cv today for the first time in a week,

It was nice to have a working heater and something non leaky!

Im using the car as my Boss is away and his wife needs a lift in to work,
after that the car is coming off the road for a month or so whilst i change the oil feed pipes and put some metal cowlings on and a few other bits

im not against using an a series in the winter, but id rather use another vehichle now and get the work down now than spend the whole summer doing the work on it (at the speed i get things done on my car!)
