In the age of P.C. If you are going to have a page 3 girl you also need a page 7 fella for those interested in men and on page 11 a nice picture of a kitten for those that are not interested in men or women. :D
Good luck with such a daunting task!

Well done for taking the job on Sam .....Firstly,I'll admit that I rather like the outlay/style of the current mag ......the crossword is about the only page I dont bother with.
However, more technical articles gets my vote, and more articles about members cars but with a leaning away from soppy shit about "Molly the D*lly".
Maybe a "nostalgia" page spanning the years of 2CVGB ......say start in 1978 [was that the year 2CVGB was founded? :? ......I did'nt join until 1980 myself] .... something along the lines of "In 1980-something we had camps at "such & such" and "so&so",the International was held at "somewhere" .....and then list a few current events about was happening that year........this could jog the memories of old timers like myself and maybe give some of the younger members a smile, maybe it would encourage members to send in old photos and [at one year per month] from 1978 to date would give you nearly three years copy......once the membership realise that  "Its gonna be 1988 next month" .....people could start digging old pics out for the relevant year.
More articles from the 2CV Racing Club and the 4x4 fans could widen the appeal.
All done with a little more humour ....

P.S. I think Squeezbox maybe should have a monthly column.

 I'll second that ..... ;)

It's just a name. The car's the same. Get over it. There are far more important things to get annoyed about.

Can we have a modified section with something other than lomaxes and plastic bodied bags of shit? thanks.

I could write an article telling people how terrible and horrifically stupid modification is, but then do a massive U turn and tell them that they should all buy lomaxes, burn them then fit upside down, water cooled GS engines as this would make it do 120 in second gear. James would believe it.
