 Re: Shetland Islands. Just booked into The Balmoral Hotel in the centre of Moffat, just a short drive off the M74 and 255miles north of Worcester (about 4hrs drive or so).  I can now pootle up through Scotland on the Friday

Re: Shetland Islands. First leg of the journey completed, I'm at The Balmoral Hotel in Moffat and took four and a half hours to travel 255 miles with one 15 minute stop for fuel and comfort. Next update tomorrow.

Re: Shetland Islands. On the ferry at Aberdeen, leaving for Shetland shortly. 2CV is behaving its self and it's been a good drive up.

Re: Shetland Islands. Well I'm now on Shetland, got here at half seven this morning and already visited five islands(via road bridges), will need to use ferries to get to others later in the week. The crossing from Aberdeen was quite rough, any worse and I'd have come a cropper.lol. That's all for now except to say I absolutely love Shetland, it's everything I hoped and much, much more.
