Buying a purflux filter spanner, having my old man make a king pin press (20+ years ago), getting a decent grease gun, and trying not to buy stuff on ebay while drunk.

When setting the points to the static firing point, use one of the main headlamp bulbs instead of a test lamp to set the points box to the right angle. Just connect the wires, they're right there in front of you anyway!

Daggy rear wings, with screw holes rusted through? Too incompetent to weld? Too skint/stingey to replace with new wings? No probs! Just buy a role of aluminium tape and make good! Will last for years AND looks like stylish Robri trim (from a distance, in the dark, when you're drunk).
