Re: Anyone know anything about this extended bootlid and roof?
I've managed to scan the pages I want, but they are too big to upload to this forum!!

For me it's mainly about function (says the person who doesn't have a 2CV at the moment. But when I did have one I did used to find not being able to put something big and square in a bit of a pain. It still has to look good though, no fake spare wheel humps for me. And how many 2CV's have you seen looking like this one, with dents in the boot lid here people have shut it on something too big inside.

OMG My eyes, my eyes! I think no boot extension will ever improve the looks. So for me(also traveling alone) it's a matter of be able to get "sleep-length" in the 2CV. And then the regular boot-extension does the job.... No tent's for me

AFAIK Jeroen Cats loved to surf, and this was a way for transporting a surfboard inside the car... This bootlid is from a Traction Avant. The regular ones for 2cv's are not that big

As Louise said, I love my super big boot box - plus it seems to add an extra 5mph!!
And yeah the 'humpty' ones are available from club cassis ... if you think its worth the £300...

We still managed to cruise at 65 with the loaded boot box with boot rack, roof rack with roof box... oh and my tent strapped on top of the roof box!! We had this convo at the halloween camp and we reckon they smooth out the airstream a bit.
