If it's outside you'd be better off not covering it.

That's always been my view, never even covered my bikes that were kept parked outside,as things tend to sweat and stay wet under covers, also you can get discoloration on your paint work from contact with the cover. Even some garages can cause your car to sweat, worse if you have used your car on salted roads, this should be washed off as soon as your able with cold water. Not nice in the winter but saves your car/bike rotting away before your eyes. I open my windows on dry days to air the car out and lift the rubber mats out to keep her as dry as possible inside, not easy with a 2cv.

Watched it surrounded by Chinese businessmen & government officials as they poked & prodded it during a fag break. They were probably wondering why on earth anyone in the UK would drive the sort of thing they could only have dreamed of thirty years ago if they were lucky & privileged enough, but now wouldn't give house room to in modern China.

Replaced the one corroded headlight reflector with the one from a headlight that chewed brick ,which I'd kept. A quick dose of heat gun to get them apart then stuck it back with silicon, job done :-)

Took a run up to Norwick Beach this morning. It's a glorious sunny day in Shetland. :) grill muff now in place as it was -1 at half seven last night.
