I had that very pic in mind, ;) I'd like to think she knows what she's doing with that ratchet, but in reality probably had to be told which end to hold.

We don't-yet.

We were all at school together (with the exception of Steve-the drummer) and decided to start a band. We did 1 "gig" the following year and we sucked big time!

We packed it all in 3 years later (we were around the 18/19 mark and had jobs etc to occupy our time.

Anyway, fast forward 17 years to this April when we all had a great big man-sized midlife crisis and decided to start jamming again. It's fun for the most part but getting together can be a real trial, Gary (lead guitar)has young kids and lives in Chester, Matt (rythm guitar) has a young family, an unreliable Volkswagen Sharan and is a paramedic so works shifts, Steve (drums) is a fireman so shiftwork again, Mike (bass) yet again has young family (and a wife that hates me!) and lives in Leicester and spends the rest of his time going on holiday it seems so it's really only me that's able to drop things and get along to rehearsals!

In fairness though, we're much better than we were back in the day despite lack of practice etc so we WILL gig sometime. I'll post it up on here when we do. I may not say where though. ;)

I do find whenever I spend some time back in the civilised world and develop a taste for proper beer tennents is horrendous upon my return.

It takes a few sessions to get used to ignoring the taste again.

Tennents is however cheap, its £1.50 a pint in the student union.

Just finnished Fallout 3. Grrrrreat game!

Before that, I used a lot of my life playing Oblivion, and before that again, it was Bioshock. Also great!

A year ago I played Gears of War co-op with a friend. Gears of War was fantastic fun playing with a friend. He lives 1600km away, but every night we met "face to face" in this virtual world of war, covering each other's back's in the fight against evil!
