I've had that delight more than once. Good innit? Unfortunately this is no longer an option with the visa though, despite my best efforts I couldn't break into it whilst pissed the other week. Was waiting for someone to come back for two hours :(

Been using it around Unst most days so far and it's turning into a celebrity. It shares the island with another classic, a Morris Minor Convertible.

Today - Fitted CPD valve and an "uprated" speedo dash bulb, also cleaned fuel filter, fitted spring to heat exchanger, changed coil over, a general tidy up of wires under the bonnet then and went for a spin 8-)

*along with yesterday - had the "dim dip" removed, adjusted & modified accelerator spring, and reset timing* All thanks to Uncle Ken

The car has had a lot of attention the last few days 8-)

Brill hope you checked the CPD valve was marked for flow the correct way as some had been marked wrong, mind the thread on that was a while ago. Hope you didn't lose to much skin off your fingers doing the speedo :)

Was looking to use it for the 57mile/2 ferries drive to Lerwick today but the weather was bloody awful first thing this morning so used the C4. This afternoon the weather is superb for open-top motoring in a tin can, but it's 57miles and 2 ferries away. Bum! :( I'm booked on the 1805 and 1855 ferries back home so hopefully get it out for an hour this evening. :)
