Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Went to Lupin Farm for a car show - Stopped via LittleHay on the way back. It was brilliant - car ran like a dream, weather was glorious, roof down - FAB!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Went for a drive around Unst this afternoon and whilst out it bloody rained! Got back home, stuck it in garage and dried it with a soft towel. Looks clean now.  It came to the noticed of a new neighbour who walked over and we spent a good forty minutes chatting. Apparently we came up from Aberdeen on the same crossing.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Went out picking three varieties of wild plums and my first harvest of sloes for this years gin..Got some odd looks from passing locals up my stepladder scrumping

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Made a cycle rack bracket to go under the car - like a tow bar but lighter. Will post some pictures when paint is dry

That reminds me - changed the sheds gearbox oil last weekend and it was as black as the ace of spades - thankfully not a lot of metal on the plug magnet but cannot have been changed for years.....note to self - in future when you buy a new car check the gearbox oil as well as the engine oil!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Collected 6 doors from the paint strippers this afternoon in Draycott, near Stoke and took them to the house in the shed with them hanging out the back doors - very safely secured mind but still got a lot of funny looks....
