Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
New wheels finally attached for the price of a pint! Decided not to reinstate the hubcaps and use the blanking plugs instead. Passed a Dyane on my way home and had a wave. Now on the end of the drive awaiting musical cars to get it back to the top of the drive.

Good plan ditching the hubcaps, vans look a bit wrong with them. always worth hunting out a decent tyre fitting place.

I seem remember having to remove the front of the car and struggling to remove the fan the last time I had to get to the points and I just know that as soon as I've got the car in bits it will start chucking it down.

What car is it? 2cv is much easier than Dyane/ami/Mehari.

Friday: drove from Ross on Wye to Wooler, pretty much flat out all the way, with loads of camping kit, three guitars, a valve amplifier and assorted crap in the back. Then did three gigs around Northumberland. Monday: drove from Wooler to Ross on Wye, stopped twice for fuel but otherwise flat out etc. etc. These are great cars.
