Almost 10 years - lots of cars in fields and skid marks on the way out in the morning.... I had a delivery one day of a new boiler (toooo big for my van) and the guy fell out of his lorry drunk!!!!!! Not so long ago the Gendermes said they would go on strike if their bosses stopped them having wine etc at lunch time - only in France

I wish it were that simple.

But I think it may be the connections on the indicator switch which is bolted to the console - very tight behind so will take it all off and insulate all the bare connectors.

Will get on with it this afternoon

Replaced the other sill and ensured that the door post was welded to the floor.

Chasing this battery flattening fault - it wasn't what I thought.

Could it be the battery ? Holds charge for about a day and this quite possibly could be the issue with my regulator not activating to charge. When I push the lever it stays contacted and charges but does not activate on its own.

hmmm... this may have been like this since I bought it

Any ideas, other than buying a new battery which are bloody expensive.

I have done that for the past few days - leave it for say 12 hours and then try to start it and it clunks.

Could it be a short or is this the battery :?:

Clunks? Is that the starter solenoid? Try a known battery

Starter is fine - when charged it starts first time - just doesn't hold the charge for more than a day.

PS - Solenoid - I pull a wire to start mine :D
