Avoid Andouillette at all costs if you are ever over here. Its the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. [This from someone who has eaten hedgehog and swallows]

That's why the Chinese wear that strange inscrutable smile when they serve you in a chippy.

As for Andouillette and the like, if I don't like the look of it I won't eat it, as I tend to 'eat with my eyes'. I came unstuck once though when I thought an olive looked inoffensive. :?

:lol: :lol: :lol: Laughed out loud.

You have to eat 20 olives before you will like them. This is a tried and trusted method to like olives. Might put this on the 2CV School thread.

A friend of mine was adopted by a cat who liked olives. Which just adds to the mountain of proof that Cats Are Weird.

I saw Nigel Farrage on TV last night. I quite like him, not the usual mealy mouthed politico. He was asking that more folk join UKIP, so I sat and thought for a moment before deciding that perhaps I will.

This because of the mushrooms then.

UKIP a pointless political party. [now that should start a debate.] { can you tell I am bored }

I think that the point you mustn't be able to see is the minor one of a nation being governed by an unelected foreign consortium, which is undemocratic, and thus against everything that western civilisation has been based on.

Or that we don't actually benefit from membership of the EU, we only pay towards it. Obviously if those minor points evade you it isn't perhaps the fault of UKIP?

cheers for all the input on cameras chaps :) If I want a 'serious' film camera I'll probably head towards a Minolta as my beloved constant f2.8 18-55mm sigma lens that I use on my sony alpha will fit (with limited function).

I'm quite liking a 17.5mm HIT type camera as a toy but also keeping my eye on a few Minox's on ebay.

For the record I like mushrooms as long as they don't look like mushrooms, ie in soup :)

Yes it is, by corporate big business, which is equally unacceptable. I wouldn't wish to replace one dictator with another would you?

Anyway I shouldn't mention politics, but it's hard for me because I was politicised at an early age. Every Saturday morning, back when I was around five or six years old I would be dropped off at my grandma's while my mother went into town shopping.

I remember one day my grandma was shouting me, and as I ran outside to her she said to me;

"Young-Nail, remember this. If a man under the age of 30 is not a liberal, then he has no heart. But if a man over the age of 30 is still a liberal, then he has no brains."

I looked up at her, tears welling in my big blue child-like eyes and said;

"I'll remember that grandma I promise....Now will you please put all your clothes back on and come down from the roof?" :P
