Did a little over 600 miles in mine, only had to strip and clean the starter motor once, the splines were sticking.

Went to the butchers and spent 25 quid on things for me tea, two ducks, two kilo of mince, a massive pack of sausages and some minted lamb kebabs in the fourtwofive with the roof down in the sunshine, went and had me hair cut a bit further down the road, both times leaving it with the roof open and the keys in it parked in the French carefree style. Then, I took the drummer up to Bracknell across all the nice country A roads, stopped on the way for a glass of coke outside a pub where there was a match in progress on the cricket green. On the way home I gave it all it had, overtook cars that weren't expecting it and drove it like I'd just nicked it. Perfect day.

I think I'm going to reattach the exhaustclamp on the 2cv.. Saw it hanging down the 2-1 exhaust pipe (instead of the 1 silencer)..

MOT man didn't noticed it, otherwise it wouldn’t have past the test last friday.. It must have a leaky exhaust me thinks..

I raised my car by about 6-8 cm. It was easy.

Step 1 empty the whole car of shit.
Step 2 Done.

Mine's stranded! I can't get the YSH out of the garage - the door has come off its runner & I can't open it or close it fully! I phoned Cornwall Council & they asked for the address - I was then told they can't find it on their system - to which I replied... "Great, I'll cancel the direct debit then..." 5 line holds & different departments later they agreed it was their garage & will send two 'Tech guys' read ' Cowboys' out tomorrow!

We had a right 'mare with our local council when we wanted a new roof on the garage, then they replaced the door without warning leaving us unable to open the new lock. Apparently they meant to change the door on one of the other garages but did ours by mistake. Quality workmanship!

Today I met chris and J-dub at goodwood and we had a go on the skidpan (not in the 2cv) then got royally bummed buying 'goodwood organic finest' egg rolls and coffee. £1.90 for a can of lemonade? Ouch!

I collected my Dyane after the engine, gearbox, clutch, tyres and brakes were changed and the ride height set to normal (it was a bit low for my liking). It's driving like a new car and almost ready for a trip to France in a couple of week. Can't wait!

I went to "The Butty Run" in the van this morning and deciided it was still too bloody loud.

Came home, arsed around a bit more with the suspension and made another exhaust-much better now.
