Got some petrol and went to pay at the kiosk (drive thru) and an old guy who was paying for a bottle of gas complained he could not hear because this old 2CV was making too much noise. I revved and surged forward and he dropped his stick.

Drove my white Special to Kidderminster to pick up some parts for an Aga that I'm servicing.... then drove it over to Halesowen to do the job. The car handled great in the snow - but sounded kind of throaty and loud. Did the Aga job then had a quick look to see if I could work out why the car was sounding so butch. Guessed it yet? Exhaust snapped just in front of silencer torpedo!

Uncle Roy's going to have a bumper order soon.

Got up early to drive to Hede where there is flight of 11 locks on the canal. Photo taken before the sun came out and got topless on the drive up to the sea....
I have heard of house boats but never caravan boats - somebody was living in it.....

Put the snow chains on and went for a drive in the Peaks (as the weather forecast was full on BBC Snowmageddon, with the Peak District as one of the worst hit areas, and warnings not to go out or you'll die), I managed to put in a pub lunch too. High idle speed and petrol smell on the way back, minor problem with the choke cable, easily fixed.
