Okay, so I'm going to say it - I like it. And let me finish... The reason I want to get hold of a 2cv is because of my dislike for modern motoring and disregard for external public opinion. The 2cv certainly splits people down the middle, and let's be honest - people get quite passionate on both counts. This still has the hallmark of the classic 2cv, but made ugly. Therefore all you nay-sayers and traditionalists will also be split down the middle, and therfore evoking even further debate. Love it! ...and I bet it'd get people talking at a WM. I mean in the dub clubs, people get angry about the 1303s! All because of a slightly more curved windscreen and big back lights:   Now come on - it's still a flippin' bug and the IES is still a 2cv!

well you see your sortof right and sortof wrong... the ies america/super america were pretty much just 2cv bodyshells... i could be wrong but im sure they had completely different chassis and suspension set ups... interiors are completely different too

so citroenet says they had wishbone suspension louis, outboard front discs aswell!!!!

try citroenet.org on google... citroens made outside france... they have quite abit of info, IES made a number of licenced citroens, ami8, mehari, also their very own "gringa" which was a pickup, only bit remotely citroen was the engine
