Cheers both!

It says Basingstoke on their MySpace profile, but surely Derby's got more cred?!! ;-)

Just a question:
Can anyone hear the music in a 2cv when we are driving at 80 or more Km/h?
I can´t! My horses are too noisy...

No. I can't with the stereo, but usually my 2CV has no stereo so I use my MP3 player and headphones, I can hear that fine...

Oh yes!

You are best off with a nice pair of midrange/bass enclosures mounted in wedge-shaped cabs under the front seats with drivers firing forward into the footwell; a similarly sized pair mounted on a wooden panel fitted over the spare wheel-well in the boot; a single sub in place of the actual spare, smallish enclosures at head-height in the rear mounted on brackets on the rear window-bar, and some good tweeters of the type sold for Berlingo dash-fitting at each end of the vent aperture up front. You are best to source a decent crossover for these rather than rely on the cheap capacitor, but they'll work without. Oh yes, and a reasonable amount of power in the head-unit or otherwise a decent additional amp.

The whole installation is almost invisible to those peering-in, and needn't use particularly expensive speaker units, and the beauty is that the whole kaboosh gets away with no hole-cutting in doors (2CV doors are crap speaker enclosures anyway) and is easily transferable between cars.

Anything by Emiliana Torrini ticks all my boxes. I like her version of 'Sound of Silence' and a song she sang for the Lord of the Rings ST....'Gollum's Song'. But there are many other's that she has wrote and sung...'Heartstopper', 'Gun', 'Easy', 'To be Free', to name just a few. Youtube her, see what you think. :D

PS:I've no idea how to set up links from here to there..so to speak. :?

Just caught up with this thread. Cheers Russ, I've now got a majorette fantasy that won't go away! Good tune as well.

For some reason, I quite like this....
