 Re: help needed about DS
Go for it but not before you double checked the points I gave you.... and it passes all of them...
Don't buy it the first time..... Always take a second or third look.... first time youre only in love.... second time you will see through (hopefully).....
try to make a testdrive, when the engine doesn't run I wouldn't do it (or you must have lots of sparetime and money.....)
When the engine doesn;t run and hasn't run for several years 99.9% the head gasket has gone, so again 300 euro + 2 days of work....

 Re: help needed about DS
Nice D there Sig, A Pallas is the one people desire... Lpgo has hit the nail on the head. What I do luv about the DS is that nearly everything mechanical is serviceable, so it's easy to service instead of replace. Aussie Frogs is a great forum for information and is used internationally, free to browse or sign to post, you will see a small post I made recently about the DS rear suspension clunk... Harley

 Re: help needed about DS
Well it isn't that far to the French border from your place, take a look at leboncoin, I think a resenoable DS is going for around 2 or 3K euro...... over there

 Re: help needed about DS
went to see the cheap ds on blocks for 2500(that was in the leboncoin finds thread) the other day (just before buying the azu) it was in good condition generally but when wired to a battery, no life at all, and I thought too risky for the hassle. I think its now been snapped up by someone with bigger balls than me:)
