I think my turbo 2cv is fast, but after this video, I thought it was somewhat dull

What would such a kit cost?

Wait till you can drive it, you will be surprised I know for shore..... Ok. It will never be a beamer, but hey at least you can say you have an original engine......

Take a Hayo Busi and the Beamer will look like it's a dull car...... so what's the point.....

Or put a second Beamer in the back.............

(well I'm just jealous again I guess)

Hi Lars.
your car is still uber cool. Much cooler than the BMW conversion no doubt about that. And its your work. Not everyone is capable of doing it.
All we have done is used a more modern engine that is generally going to be more reliable than a 2cv/visa hybrid engine that will struggle to make 70bhp for any amount of time. I've seen this for 20 plus years at Spa and in my own garage. If I want to modify my car it needs to be useable everyday. On top of this, I also know what it costs for camshafts, carbs, mappable ECU's, heads, pistons etc to make old cars go fast. It aint cheap.
To answer your question, the kit to fit the engine to a 2cv/GSA gearbox is £600 plus carriage and an exchange flywheel.
Now Hayabusa, that's an idea.... not sure the 2cv clutch would handle that
Ta
Pete
